The Nördlinger table and clothing store CaDW was pleased to receive a donation of 500 euros from Kutzschbach Electronic.
The donation amount came from the “Cycling for a Good Cause” campaign as part of the company's 40th anniversary, during which our employees cycled on an exercise bike in our Working Café.
The management donated 50 cents for every kilometer driven. The employees collected a total of 700 kilometers.
The management increased the donation amount from 350 to 500 euros.
The donation was now presented by the managing directors Frank Söder and Thomas Kutzschbach to Johannes Beck, managing director of Diakonie Donau-Ries.
“Food banks need help in order to be able to help. The CaDW project is supported by the work of many volunteers. In order to be able to maintain this important service for our fellow human beings in need, we also rely on donations. The help from Kutzschbach Electronic arrives where it is needed,” says Beck.
The Nördlinger Tafel- und Kleiderladen CaDW is a joint institution of Caritas and Diakonie Donau-Ries and has been offering food and second-hand clothing to needy citizens since 2007. The financing is largely secured through donations.
We are pleased to be able to contribute to supporting the CaDW with this donation.
