Diakonie Donau-Ries was happy about a mask donation. The Kutzschbach company donated 500 FFP2 masks to Diakonie in the acute phase of the coronavirus. Johannes Beck, managing director of Diakonie Donau-Ries, and Sieglinde Schmutterer, care team leader, gratefully accepted the masks from the three Kutzschbach managing directors Frank Kutzschbach, Frank Söder and Thomas Kutzschbach. “Thanks to the mask donation, we were well prepared for acute cases of infection during the infection phase. We are very grateful for the support,” said Beck.
The FFP2 masks were used where they were urgently needed: in the nursing service. Diakonie Donau-Ries nursing staff make around 1.000 home visits for patients every day. The nursing staff at the various Diakonie stations were equipped with the FFP2 masks. “It is important to us to get socially involved even in times of crisis and to support local providers,” says Thomas Kutzschbach.
